La Union Prominente Especial Red
La Union Prominente Especial Red is a celebratory collaboration between two cigar legends â JosĂ© âPepinâ Garcia of My Father Cigars and Pete Johnson of Tatuaje â marking 20 years of partnership. Each Red box contains 40 cigars: 20 blended by My Father and 20 by Tatuaje, both in the Prominente Especial format (7ÂŒ x 50 with a 109-style belicoso head).
- My Fatherâs blend features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with an open foot, delivering bold notes of earth, cocoa, and spice over a Nicaraguan binder and filler.
- Tatuajeâs blend uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with a closed foot, offering a richer, heavier-smoking experience with flavors of cedar, dried fruit, and pepper.
Both blends are handcrafted at My Father Cigars S.A. in EstelĂ, Nicaragua, using tobaccos grown by the GarcĂa family, including rare Pelo dâOro leaf. The cigars are housed in a collectible humidor-style box with a numbered XIKAR Xi1 cutter, featuring the La Union logo â a symbolic handshake between Pepin, Jaime Garcia, and Pete Johnson.
Only 1,500 boxes of the Red edition were produced, making this a must-have for collectors and connoisseurs.
